Which is the best place to park my car?
Standard parking is the closest and only purpose built, secure, floodlit, fully attended car parking in Penzance available to visitors to the Isles of Scilly using the Scillonian and Penzance Heliport.
Parking is all on level hard standing, we do not need your car keys and our shuttle service for 2 people and luggage is included in the cost of your parking.
The “official” parking booked through the Steamship company costs the same and is little more than a grass field with zero security for your vehicle and no staff on site through the day.
Shuttles run every 10 minutes and take less than 5 minutes to get you to the quayside.

Standard Parking
Standard Parking is located at our purpose built park and ride facility on the entrance to Penzance behind Sainsburys on Jelbert Way, Eastern Green. TR18 3RG.
This is the closest pre bookable parking to Penzance Heliport which is just 2 minutes walk away.
If you’re parking here we will not require a key to the vehicle, it will not move from where you park it.
Transport from the car park to the quay and back on your return is included in your parking payment for the driver, one passenger and reasonable luggage (two suitcases and hand luggage).
Our shuttle service will drop you back at the quay and under normal circumstances you will not have to wait more than 10 minutes for a shuttle either at drop off or collection.
If there are more than two people in the vehicle we suggest you drop off the extra passengers and any large or heavy luggage, cycles, kayaks etc at the quay before bringing your vehicle to the car park which is only a 5 minutes drive.
On your return the shuttle service will take the driver back to the car park to collect the vehicle they then return to the quay to collect passengers and luggage. If you’re traveling alone with multiple children come directly to the car park and we will arrange to transfer your luggage and all passengers but please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.
